Acceptance of terms

These provisions set out the terms and conditions on which you may make use of the newtonandtheapple.com website (the “Site”). By using the site and/or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Customer Terms.

  1. Our contract

Your order constitutes your offer to us to buy the goods that you select when placing your order on the Site. All orders are subject to availability and acceptance by us. We will send you an email acknowledging receipt of your order, followed by confirmation that we can and will fulfil the order. Your order is not confirmed until you receive confirmation of your order. The acknowledgement email does not constitute acceptance of your order by us.

  1. User account registration, passwords and security

3.1 You have the option to open an account via the Site to place and refer to your order(s). When registering for a user account, you will select a password and user name that you can use to access your online account.

3.2 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and user name, and are responsible for all activities that occur under them. We will not be liable should your password or user name be used by someone else (unless such use is due to our negligence).

3.3 You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your password or user name.

  1. Age restrictions

By placing an order and/or registering an account with us, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts and that you are at least 18 years old. If you are under 18, you are not authorised to make a transaction or register an account with us. If you are not legally capable of entering into contracts, we are legally entitled to cancel any order(s) with you and will not be obliged to supply the goods.

  1. Payment methods

5.1 Payment for purchases of goods and/or services you make through the Site may only be made by debit or credit card using our payment facility.

5.2 You accept that some banks may charge you an additional fee for certain transactions (for example, international transactions).

5.3 For delivery destinations within the EU prices include VAT or other sales taxes where applicable. For delivery destinations outside the EU, prices do not include VAT or other sales taxes.
